Our Simple 4-Step Study Process
From your first phone call to your last visit, you always know what comes next. Nothing about a CNS and Psychiatric trial should be a surprise.
Complete Pre-Screening
Answer a few questions online or call our team. It takes a few minutes and asks about your symptoms and health history.
Talk It Through
A study coordinator calls you back to explain the study, answer your questions, and see whether you may be a fit.
Informed Consent & Screening
You read and sign the consent form only once your questions are answered. Screening may include cognitive or movement assessments, and sometimes a scan.
Study Visits & Follow-up
Your visits are scheduled at our Stockbridge site, with the same coordinator and rater throughout. You may withdraw at any time.
Start Your Pre-Screening Now!
Tell us briefly what brings you here — Sleep Disorders, CNS and Psychiatric conditions, or Pediatric Sleep Disorders — and a study coordinator will call you back.

Frequently asked questions
No. Study-related visits, procedures and investigational product are provided at no cost to you, and each consent form spells out exactly what is covered. Compensation for your time and travel may also be available.
It depends on the study. Memory and cognition studies usually ask for a study partner — someone who knows you well, can come to some of the visits and answer questions about how you are doing day to day. Movement and headache studies often do not. The coordinator will tell you which applies before you agree to anything.
Some studies compare an investigational medication against a placebo, which looks the same but contains no active medication. If a study you are offered includes a placebo group, the consent form says so plainly and the coordinator will explain your chance of receiving it before you decide whether to take part.
Some CNS and Psychiatric studies include imaging and others do not. When a scan is part of a study it is listed in the consent form, with what it involves and how long it takes, and it is done at no cost to you. You can ask about any procedure, and decline the study, before you sign anything.
Yes. You may leave the study at any time, for any reason, and you do not have to explain why. Your regular medical care and your relationship with your own doctor are not affected. We usually ask for one final visit so the team can check how you are doing, but that is a request, not a requirement.
